Sultan Hamit Hotel

We came from Izmir for our hospital work. The location was very central, the staff was friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness was very bad. The lack of a non-smoking room and the smell of cigarette smoke permeating the room were very disturbing. In the bathroom, I saw that only the toilet was being cleaned. There was chewed gum in the shower and a razor cover on the floor. The shower was obviously never looked after. Apart from that, the breakfast was above average compared to the situation of the hotel.

I go to the same hotel every year. The staff is very attentive. The hotel has its shortcomings, but it is well cleaned by the staff. We stay with peace of mind. The price is very reasonable. I recommend it.

It was very nice but the lighting in the lobby was poor

We heard so much noise from outside until the morning that we couldn't sleep. The surrounding businesses do not comply with the rules regarding sound and there is no sound insulation in their rooms.

They were very attentive from entering the hotel to exiting. Although the wifi password in the room and at the reception was the same, the phones did not connect to wifi. Since we stayed for one night, we didn't worry too much about it. They would probably find a solution. Since the weather was very hot, I kept my water cold with ice in a thermos bag, so I asked the reception to put my bottled water in the hotel's freezer. What I see as a negative in the hotel is that the curtains are not wide enough. As you know, the windows were open at night, we pulled the background curtain over the glass so that the inside would not be visible when the wind blew, but no matter where we pulled it, one side remained open. And since there was no air conditioning in the room, the night was a little hot. Apart from these, it is a value for money hotel. It is located in the city center. I didn't have any parking problems. The hotel also has an elevator.
